There's a lot of symbolism in this painting. The blue apache paint signifies knowledge and assurance. The orchids stand for love, beauty and thoughtfulness. The bluebells are a symbol for everlasting love, humility, constancy.
My inspiration comes from the time I have spent visiting, touring and talking with native peoples and their cultures. I feel like theirs is a history that respects the complexities of our planet's ecosystem in a way that is physical and spiritual. Indigenous myths are filled with morals that scream be careful, be thoughtful, be kind.
If you look closely, you will weave your own stories when viewing this painting. Live and Let Live is my contribution to this tumultuous world.
